Mounting the ZipCut Pro onto your fishing rod
ZipCut Pro is designed to fit a wide variety of fishing rod diameters. It is mounted at the base of the rod just in front of the reel seat and will not slip during casting, even when fly-casting when properly mounted.

To mount the ZipCut Pro:
1. Simply position the ZipCut Pro with its non-slip fins straddling the base of the fishing rod.
2. Thread the strap through the slot on the side of the ZipCut Pro
3. Wrap the fastener strap around the fishing rod, over the fins on the mounting base.
4. Put the rounded end of the strap through the metal ring.
5. Secure the strap back onto itself under tension.
6. Cut off excess fastener.

Using the ZipCut Pro
Cutting line with the ZipCut Pro is easy.
1. Place the fishing rod under your arm.
2. Hold the lure with one hand, and the line with the other.
3. Slide the fishing line under tension into the line cutting channel.
4. Pull UP towards the top of the line cutting channel while sliding BACK towards yourself until the line is cut by the blade.

Each package contains:
- 1 main cutting unit
- 1 rubberized mounting base (removable from cutting unit)
- 1 velcro mounting strap
