Hand made clay pot suitable as a hiding place for octopus, laid as a string of pots on the sea bed with 5 -10 meter (15-30ft) between. The pot shall be hauled to the surface by winch with the captured octopus. Catch rate may be 100 - 500kg (220 - 1100 lbs) per day per 1000 pots hauled.
