The Maker's Series - These rods are two piece, one tip, for the angler who wants to experience the thrill of using a handmade split bamboo fly rod without spending a lot of money. For the price of a quality graphite rod, the fisher person can have a rod with aluminum reel seat hardware, a maple or rosewood reel seat filler, chrome plated stainless steel guides, nickel silver ferrule, and choice of amber, red, green, blue, or yellow color wraps. The grip, made from quality cork rings, is handcrafted by Roger in his shop. Included in the price is a rod bag and aluminum tube. These are 4-7 wt rods, available in six to nine foot lengths, and slow to moderate-fast actions.
