Regular inflatable slides cannot get wet -- the water can get through the seams and inside the inflatable itself, where mold and mildew can grow and damage the inflatable. Slides designed
specifically to be water slides have special coverings welded over the seams. So if you're thinking of adding water to your event, be sure to tell your rental company and they'll let you know what
water safe inflatable options they have. Water slides can be either the traditional climb and slide like an inflatable slide, or a horizontal slide that you run and skid across. Either way, the
inflatable probably comes with a special built-in area to attach a garden hose, and often they are designed to create a splash pool for sliders to fall into.
