For 2008, Marin have replaced all their 7075 Aluminium Frames with 6061 Versions. This one comes with Double-Butted Hydro-Edge Top- and Downtubes for Strength and Weight Reductions, plus 4-Side Seat- and Chainstays for Stiffness and Excellent Handling. The Forks now come with 80mm of Travel and you also get Shimano Alivio Shifters for Improved Gear Changes. The New WTB Prowler MX Comp Tyres give Awesome Grip in All Conditions and the Hayes MX-4 Mechanical Disc Brakes are a definite favourite as give Excellent Braking and are Simple and Easy to maintain and adjust. It is finished in Girly Gloss Pink, but rest-assured, there is nothing "girly" in the Performance of this Excellent XC Machine.
