The new 2008 Scott Addict R2 is one of the lightest road bikes out there. By further developing on the successful CR1 process, Scott has created the state of the art Integrated Moulding Process.
(IMP) and mated it with the Naked External Tubeset (NET). This removes the cosmetic layer of carbon and shaves grams off the entire frame.
Developed with the feedback from the Pro Tour famous Saunier Duval Prodir. The Scott Addict framesets also features carbon dropouts, an integrated seat post, an alloy replaceable hanger, and a
carbon front mech mount. When combined with the slimmer carbon IMP fork that weighs 330 grams, the new Addict R2 weighs in at 6.7 Kg (size 54).
The Scott Addict R2 is Scott's ultra-lightweight Addict frame equipped with the always reliable Shimano Dura-Ace group-o. Fully equipped with 20 speed Dura-Ace Shifters, derailleurs, brakes, cranks
and BB. The wheels are a perfect match, the black addict r2 frame goes great with Mavic's recently introduced all black 18 spoke front, 20 rear, Ksyrium Premiums. Scott finishes off the package
with all Ritchey WCS Carbon components, their top level bar and stem.
