Light just got lighter: Aftersetting the bar with the creation of the CR1 with its revolutionarycarbon welding process resulting in the lightest production frame forthe last five years, Scott has raised the bar and has producedsomething lighter, stiffer, and more comfortable: the Addict.

TheAddict is a full fledged race bike that has been ridden to greatsuccess by the Pro Tour Team Saunier Duval. The new Integrated MoldingProcess technology, combined with proven CR1 technology and the use ofhigh quality HMX NET carbon fiber, makes it possible to produce theworlds lightest frame, weighing just 790 grams. Setting a newlightweight record required a great deal of attention to detail. Thecable stoppers, dropouts, and front derailleur mount are thus all madefrom carbon. Another great feature is the integrated seat mast thatallows the frame to be lighter as well as giving you a better feel ofthe bike. The Addict carbon fork, also created using IMP technology,weighs 330 grams and is included in the 790 grams!

Addictdifferentiates itself from the CR1 range by having a more stretched outgeometry, lower head tube height, stiffer head tube and bottom bracket,and a smoother ride thanks to the redesigned seat stays.
