The Addict frame was designed to give Pro Tour riders the geometry they desire at the lowest weight possible without sacrificing stength or stiffness. If you take a look at the geometry you will
notice the headtube is short, the top tube is long, and the seat tube angle is more setback allowing a racer to gain a great level of control over thier bike at high speeds on those bendy
courses.
By reducing the cosmetic layer of the frame, Scott was able to reduce the weight of this frame to appr. 790g without sacrificing any lateral stiffness. The cable guides, front derailleur braze-on,
and rear dropouts are made of carbon fiber in-order for Scott to achieve the superlightweight of this frame.
