The 2008 Scott Addict Ltd Frame at 790grams and complete bike below 6kg is the arguably the lightest production carbon bike available on the market.. The 2008 Scott Addict Ltd is the lightest road
bike out there. By further developing on the successful CR1 process, Scott has created the state of the art Integrated Moulding Process. (IMP) and mated it with the Naked External Tubeset (NET).
This removes the cosmetic layer of carbon and shaves grams off the entire frame.
Completely developed with the feed back from the Pro Tour Saunier Duval Prodir athletes. Scott was able to focus on the most important demands necessary to produce the ultimate road frame. The Scott Addict also features carbon dropouts, and an integrated seat post, alloy replaceable hanger, and a carbon front mech mount. When combined with the slimmer carbon IMP fork that weighs 330 grams, the new Addict ltd weighs in at 5.9kg (size 54).
