Bud & Betty Hunting Calls is a family-run business that is dedicated to producing fine, handcrafted hunting calls. We have gone to great lengths to field test these calls under the most extreme hunting conditions, from the early season of the South Carolina Lowcountry to the snowy cornfields of Western Indiana. You can rest assured that my calls are made to last and will see you through many hunting seasons.

As with all Bud & Betty Hunting Calls, our Deer Grunters have been put through rigid field testing. We feel that the quality and functionality of this call exceeds that of all the other deer grunt calls seen on the market anywhere. They are built with the same excellence and attention to detail that makes our well-known turkey calls the Grand National Champions they are.

My Bud & Betty Deer Grunters are made from American Walnut and both are finished in the finest gun-stock quality. Every one has a silver "band" encircling it for added beauty and a special touch.

Reminiscent of the time-honored designs of days gone by, these calls are traditional wood-barreled grunters.

Made with an extendable tube, both have excellent volume control and are low maintenance. As seen in the photo above (two shown for comparison purposes only), both my Aluminum and Mylar Reed call is fully adjustable: they can replicate grunts from the meekest of fawns up to the most aggressive buck that walks!

The THICKET with Aluminum Reeds is softer and more mellow than our Mylar Reed Grunters. It will produce a quieter, throaty grunt, just perfect for those tight, thick woods.

BIG TIMBER has Mylar Reeds and has more volume than our Aluminum Reed Grunters. It can produce a lower, growling-type grunt that can reach out into those fields when you need to cast out more sound.
