This is one of DJ'S (David Jackson's) versions of the cut-down grafton calls. This is the Louisiana style cutdown duck call.
The tonal plug has been cut off on the end where the reed sticks out over the end of the plug, and the contour has been modified. The tonal plugs of course are made out of hard rubber with the
keyway slot. I can either put in white mylar reeds or I can put in black vinyl reeds to suit your needs. The calls differ a lot in the way they are tuned and in turn has a complete different sound.
This old way of duck calling was almost a lost art. I'm glad to be a part of bringing it back to life. If you have any questions call me and I will help you all I can.
