Can Line Balancing Systems

The Fleetwood Model R2463RACS One-Pass is a line balancing system for empty beverage or food cans which allows the can making production line to operate independently from can finishing or can filling production. When cans are fed to the palletizer accumulator, they are palletized. When cans are required in the production line, they are depalletized. This capability will increase production if, for example, the can finishing or can filling stops or is interrupted, the can making line continues to operate placing cans in storage. When the can finishing or can filling production is restarted, cans are fed back into the system, supplementing the supply from the can making.The One-Pass is both a palletizer and a depalletizer. The One-Pass is NOT a PDP. It is 2 to 2.5 times more efficient than a PDP. The One-Pass system will palletize any individual can a maximum of one time. PDP's have bi-di style accumulators which place the same cans on and off the pallet many times.
