Turk Masters Custom Made Turkish Cymbals

We hope to serve you with all your quality cymbal needs.

These cymbals will mix and compliment with any high quality cymbals. Still they will stand on their own because they are so musical.

Our prices are very affordable. You cannot buy a better cymbal at any price.

We can also mix Natural, Vintage, Brilliant, and more in one cymbal for a desired look or design but we mainly focus on sound over looks.

Brilliant is a lathed cymbal that is then buffed to a brilliant finish.

Vintage is a fine lathing on the top and bottom.

Natural is brown and dark. It is hammered, shaped, and tuned, there is no lathing.

Our finishes are from Natural to Brilliant.

We have a variety of bells sizes to pick from. For example you can have a Crash cymbal with a large Rock Ride bell or a Mini Cup Ride. We can also hot hammer a custom bell if it is a certain size you want.

Types of cymbals produced are Drum Kit cymbals, Orchestra and Philharmonic sets and suspended cymbals, marching band sets.

Each cymbal is made by traditional old world methods. No cymbal leaves the foundry until inspected by the master cymbal smith. The process begins by melting certain percentages of pure Tin and Copper in a crucible. Once the metals have melted and mixed they are poured into pans. These pans hold enough of the alloy just for one cymbal. These will eventually cool and the alloy ingot will be stored in a section of the foundry. Later the alloy ingot will be chosen by weight for making a specific size cymbal. The ingot will be place in a wood burning oven until red hot. At this point it is quickly removed from the oven and taken to a roller to flatten it. It will be passed two times through the roller and then taken back to the oven to be heated to the proper rolling heat. This process is repeated until the blank disc is somewhat round and has a uniform thickness. When it has reached the thickness needed for the cymbal type being produced it will then be reheated until red hot. Now it will be removed to cup or press the bell in the middle of the blank or disc. Then it will be heated again and then it will be taken out of the oven and dropped into a pool of waster in the floor. This process is called cold annealing. The rapid drop in temperature causes the alloy to be frozen in a soft malleable state for hammering. If the disc were allowed to cool on its own without this process the cymbal would shatter when hammered. Now the cold annealed malleable disc with a cupped or pressed bell is taken to a drill press to drill a small working / mounting hole. This hole will later be enlarged to the standard ? mounting hole. Once the bell working / mounting hole is done the cymbal is taken to the circle shearer. Here any excess is cut of to make the cymbals outer edges perfectly round. Now the cymbal will be weighed and the weight in grams will be marked under the bell. The finished blank disc is now placed in the hammering area. Blank discs in the hammering area are placed by size, weight, bell size, etc. The cymbal smith will pick the appropriate blank to hammer as orders are filled.
