A stringed instruments musical instrument that is played during mostly sufi music by Mevlevi dervishes.
the history of instrument back to Uygur Turks espacially in middle aisa, later used Turkish- Islam time. It is considered the root of stringed instruments.
It is made up of coconut oval case covered by so called gerilmi type leather tightly, attached handhold. Please see the picture.
The instrument is now not so much common and there is a few master who produce. We can provide it from the city of Konya/Turkey
