Pianos made by Erard London from these years are very rare as they did not makeso many pianos per year as we originally thought. According to our numbers,Pierre Erard (Nephew of Sebastien Erard) only made approximately less then 40pianos per year from 1837 to 1839. Pierre Erard was concentrating on Harpsduring this time as the demand for his Harps was much higher then the demandfor his piano at that time!

The archives of the Erard London Factory have not been found yet, but throughmany years of research, we have been able to put together an approximate yearto most London Erard pianos existing today.
