Gibson Gold Sparkle Style 6 Banjo With Prewar Resonator

a great style 6 Gibson banjo. The resonator was found under a prewar Gibson style 11 resonator. It is an original prewar gold sparkle style 6 resonator. it had a bit of the area of gold sparkle messed up back in the day. Obviously that is why Gibson covered the resonator with pearloid. The rest of the banjo is modern Gibson with the exception of the armrest which is a First Quality style custom 6. The tension hoop is also non Gibson which came from Huber banjos. The rim, flange, tone ring, tailpiece neck and all other parts are genuine Gibson. The banjo comes with a nice hardshell case. The banjo sounds great and has really never been played. The neck has RR spikes installed.
