J & C Fischer piano

Rare J & C Fischer carved cherry wood art case piano. In original condition. Carved scrolls and flowers, carved tappering legs, ivory keys. Numbered 17012. 6 8 ?L x 33W The square grand has a huge bass with a string length similar to a modern grand. It also has a lovely tinkly Mozart treble, with the middle range sounding very like a modern piano. In family since early 1930's - No history, but gorgeous piece. It has resided on "R" Street in Lincoln Nebraska from 1930 to 1991, was then moved to Arlington, Texas. Its case was stripped and refinished, all strings were restrung, action repaired, and tuned.
