Juicyupgrades include a richer, deeper neck tint for a more elegant andexpensive appearance; glossed neck front for improved looks with satinback for smooth playability; and bent steel Fender saddles with classiclook and great tone. String spacing is narrowed for modern playability,saddle height screws are resized to reduce rough feel, and string sloton saddle is elongated to reduce string friction or breakage. TheCopper Infused Cast Strat? Bridge Block (steel with copper100% metal)provides increased mass and improved tone. This Strat features theoriginal headstock shape but has staggered machine heads losing onestring tree and improving string angle over the nut. Custom staggeredpickup magnets improve string-to-string balance and give the G-stringbetter tone. Cosmetics include parchment/black/parchment pickguard andparchment pickup covers, knobs, and tips.

American Standard saddles - The original vintage-styleFender bent steel adjustable saddle is one of the components that givevintage Fenders their tonal 'mojo.' Fender conducted tone comparisontests, and fell in love with them all over again. They have a widertonal range and more character many other saddles. Then Fender improvedthem; narrowing the spacing to afford more room (and complement thebigger frets and rolled edges), elongated the string slot to reducefriction and string breakage, and improved the string break angle overthe primary contact point.

Tone-fusion block - A typical castbridge block is impregnated with a resin to eliminate voids in thematerial and to bond it together??this steel block is infused withcopper, which makes the block 100% homogeneous metal. The result is amore musical, higher mass bridge that has more of that machined-blocksound. Fender was also able to keep the same American Series profilefor increased tremolo travel.
