Neck dimensions:
Scale Length: 24 3/4 inches, 24 frets
Width at nut: 1 11/16 inches, width at 24th fret: 2 1/4 inches.
Neck thickness at first fret: .890 inches to .910 inches. Thickness at 12th fret: .990 inches to 1.000 inches.
General neck shape is based on a 50's Gibson which is a 'C' shape at the body end tapering down to a slight 'V' shape at the nut end.
Neck/body joint: Neck blends into body with no heel

General specifications for most Micros:

The picture to the left shows a Giffin Micro (blue) and a Giffin Standard next to each other for comparison purposes.  As you can see, the body size on the Micro is quite a bit smaller than the Standard, and despite having a 24 fret neck, the whole guitar still ends up three inches shorter than the 22 fret Standard...!

The idea behind the Micro was to produce a very lightweight, compact guitar that performed like a full-sized instrument. Giffin started with a 24 3/4", 24 fret neck and designed the smallest practical body & head around it. The result was a highly playable, killer sounding guitar that weighed no more than 5-6 lbs. (This design also spawned the Steinberger 'M' series guitars.)
