The agricultural machinery division of Mitsubishi was established in June 1914 as Satoh Agricultural Machinery Mfg. Co., Ltd. In February 1980 they established Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. by merging Satoh & Mitsubishi Machinery Co., Ltd.
