Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) is Japan's largest general trading company (sogo shosha) with over 200 bases of operations in approximately 80 countries worldwide.  Together with its over 500 group companies, MC employs a multinational workforce of approximately 48,000 people.  MC has long been engaged in business with customers around the world in virtually every industry, including energy, metals, machinery, chemicals, food and general merchandise.  Formerly built tractors for Case and now builds for Cub Cadet and Montana.  The newer MT series tractors built in the mid '90s offer an open platform design with controls located conveniently within arms reach.

The agricultural machinery division of Mitsubishi was established in June 1914 as Satoh Agricultural Machinery Mfg. Co., Ltd.  In February 1980 they established Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. by merging Satoh & Mitsubishi Machinery Co., Ltd.
