Stohlquist Water Moccasins are a pair of left and right neo socks made of 3mm super stretchy neoprene with a unique 3mm Kevlar? sole that rolls up around the foot on all sides. These Water Moccasin's are thin enough to slide easily into the smallest of river play-boats, skin-on-frame (SOF) kayaks, and low volume sea kayaks, and yet they are thick enough to give your feet decent protection while paddling. Part of what makes them so much more comfortable than other neo socks is having left and right pairs, no other neo socks have left's and right's. All the seams are set high so the stitches don't wear under foot. The Kevlar? sole gives enough protections for a short portage or you can wear sandals over them when on shore to protect your feet from rocks and tuck the sandals behind the seat when getting in your boat.
