Shop Talk: Fits narrow low volume feet. This boot is warm, warmer than the average plastic boot right out of the box. The Gore-Tex Duratherm liner has high insulating properties and controls moisture exceptionally well but takes longer than average to dry once damp. The Polyurethane shell has some resistance to stretching.

Lowa Civetta Extreme XL:
An outstanding combination of climbing performance and expedition-worthy warmth, with a liner insulated by Gore-Tex? lined Duratherm. The slight rocker sole, moderate sole flex, and a hinged ankle cuff on the shell makes ease of the hiking miles. The Civetta's low profile forefoot and toe with sticky rubber rand provide excellent rock climbing ability, and the boot is solid on steep ice.
