Accumulated static charges , which are the cause of static zaps, are discharged to ESD ground to achieve zero voltage on human body all the times. " Statguard " ESD Footwear are tested to meet electrical requirements of BS:2050 - 1978 standard and are approved from ERTL (N) ( Elecronic regional test laboratory ) , STQC directorate , deptt. of electronics, govt. of India.The resistance to ground of these shoes are more than 0.75 M ohms for personnel safety and less than 35 M ohms for ESD safety.Available in sizes from 6 to 10 ( Unisex)
