The Nomad is a lightweight mukluk with a knee-high gaiter made of waterproof / breathable 3-layer Tropos (T3) fabric that can be worn up to your knees or folded down over to your ankles. The lower half is a 3mm neoprene bootie with hidden internal bungee cord laces to keep it in place and minimize the amount of water it holds. The internal lace system minimizes the risk of laces getting caught inside your kayak. The Nomad has a medium weight sole that is stiffened with an insole to make it good for walking on rocks and gravel beaches; the rubber toe cap and heel counter add protection and durability.
