Hungarian Garlic of Mako

Springgarlic of Mako (area-specific type). It is shorter, about 50 cm high,its foliage is smaller than that of the other type. Its average weightis 60g. Its white-grey outer skin holds 7 cloves. Garlic planted inearly spring (in March) can be harvested at the beginning of July. Itsunique advantage is its extremely intense seasoning value, as well asits outstanding storability.

Earlymarket demands are met at the beginning of June with green goods. Inthis case, unripe plants that already have a bulb are sold togetherwith their leaves in stalk or bunch.
