PROXXON Micromot 50/E Ball bearing spindle and efficient cooling system facilitate continous use All models are fitted with precision ball bearings to minimise axial and radial play. The spindles are precision ground HSS, machined to accept MICROMOT collets or the optional keyless chuck. The drive motor is a specially balanced, permanent magnet unit, operating on 12-18 V DC. The radial fan facilitates optimal cooling, reducing overheating induced power losses and enabling extended periods of use. An easy to use spindle lock knob eases bit changing. All housings are made of fibreglass reinforced nylon, maximising impact resistance. The pen-like grip is ergonomically designed to ensure accuracy even when engraving delicate patterns. The 20 mm collar fits MICROMOT horizontal stands and drill press stands.Three hardened, triple slit collets, yielding high concentricity, are included. The 150 cm spiral cable is fitted with a non-reversible plug.
