UEWdrive hammers are large weights used for driving standpipe and dry type soil samplers and for jarring tight or stuck drive pipe, casing or rods out of the hole. A hole in the centre circles the
jar staff which serves as a guide. Hoisting chains are also included. The drive hammer slides freely on the jar staff pipe between the tee and coupling. Rep eated raising and dropping of the hammer
with the drill hoisting drum or cathead gradually drives the pipe. Raising it with force extracts the pipe from the hole. UEW drive hammers are normally manufactured from cast or gray iron. Alloy
steel eye bolts / U bolts and heavy duty chain provide utmost safety and wearing qualities in use.
