Ferri slope mowers

Ferri slope mowers are flail mowers that can mow behind the tractor and can also be offset to mow to the right of the tractor.  The ZME slope mower is a smaller unit designed for 18 to 40 horsepower tractors.

The flail head is fitted with articulated Y flails that will handle grass and brush up to 1" in diameter.  In the mowing position the machine rests on a rear mounted roller that is 4" in diameter and covers the full width of the machine.  The roller can be adjusted to three different positions to adjust the mowing height.

When in the offset position, the flail head can be lowered down a slope, or raised to a vertical position to mow along a hedge row.  Dual remotes are required on the tractor to power the two hydraulic cylinders that control offset and pitch of the flail head.  If remotes are not available, a separate valve option is available to control the hydraulic cylinders.  The valve is operated with two control levers which are mounted in the tractor cab, and then by a cable system to the valve.
