Craftsman Electric Lawn Mower - 19 Inch Model

Craftsman Electric Lawn Mower features a twelve amp motor and a three in one deck that allows you to side discharge, mulch, or use the rear bagging unit which comes standard on this electric lawn mower model. The cool thing about electric lawn mowers is the easy starting - you just flip a switch - and the fact that you never need to mess with gas or oil again. Because its and electric mower you never have to have a tune up, oil change, etc - so it's a very easy mower to maintain.

This model has one touch eight position height adjusters which allow for a mowing height of just over an inch to a full three and a half inches. It has a vary light polymer deck which is rust proof and much lighter than those heavy steel decks found on most gas powered mowers. The deck is also less noisy than gas powered decks as it's made to absorb sound better so you get a quieter mower.

Review comments are all over the board on this mower. Overall they're positive but there seems to be little in between voting. It was either this is the best electric mower they've seen or the worst. Here are comments posted regarding the :

We bought it about a year ago and it has been the best mower we've ever owned. No problem with power - its just as powerful as our old gas mower was. The one comment I would like to make is to rebut comments made about the power of this mower. It is every bit as powerful as any gas mower I have ever used. Good buy and lasts a long time"

JC from IL: "I only bought this mower late last summer and probably got about three or four cuts in before I put it away for the winter. But the cutting I did do was easy and the mower is so quiet it's such a change from the old power motors. One comment made said it's about as loud as a vacuum cleaner versus a lawn mower and that's true. No maintenance is a hard thing to pass up. No oil change, no tune up made me want to try an electric lawn mower and so far I am glad we did".
