Repeat this process by reversing the saw in the vice and setting the other teeth .
Starting from one end of the saw blade , set each altemate tooth by placing the plunger over the centre of the point and squeezing the handles .
It is advisable to place the saw to be set in a bench vice between timber pads .
A correctly set and sharpened saw requires less effort in use and will greatly improve cutting speeds . Before using the pliers ,revolve until the required points per inch setting is above the plunger .
These easy to use plier are designed to bend saw teeth accurately to a per-determined angle , to create the required cut. The plier can be used to set saws with 4 to 12 points per inch .
