The angled sharppener is reversible.To reverse extend the blade to the sharpening position,unscrew the large blue dial and then fully extend the blade before reversing the blade and re-assembling.

The blue dial changes the angle of the sharpening blades reducing wear on specific areas onthe blades.

How to maintain your product:

For scissors,pruning shears,secateurs and similar garden tools: Hold open and slide the angled sharpener over the cutting edge,moving away from the handles. Also suitable for axes,garden tools,loppers hedge trimmers,lawn mower blades.

For serrated knives:slide out angled sharpener at the base of the handle and slide the blade at a slight angle away from the handle along the serrated edges.

For flat-edged kitchen & DIY knives : Slide knife vertically down between the sharpening blades.Both sides of the blade are sharpened simultaneously.

Designeg with retaining ridge to fit closely to the edge of the work surface when sharpening non serated and DIY knives.The sharpener is designed to use the edge of the tungsten carbide blade, when sharpening scissors shears,secateurs etc,always hold the sharpener at an angle to the blade to be sharpened.Do not use too much pressure when sharpening,this will shorten the file of the sharpener,smooth concise strokes work better.

Use on flat surfaces or at an angle in the hand.
