SPRAY POND SYSTEM FOR 2500 TCD PLANT BB Spraying system is the most sophisticated state of the art, design, economical and efficient system widely used in cooling of injection water. The five
nozzle cluster design, a zero maintenance system, made out of the finest quality of S.S.304 material having a internal surface mirrored and its smooth volute casing reduces pressure losses,
projecting water droplets at a much higher velocity to create `the finest mist droplets. 1.1 SPRAY POND CLUSTER : The nozzles will be moulded in P.V.C. A substantial water temperature drop of about
10oC - 12oC is guaranteed, provided the relative humidity is well below the saturation humidity. 1.2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION : The Spray Nozzles are made in P.V.C having a spherical
head with its discharge mouth protruding. The discharge is off-centered of the spherical head, towards the nozzle base. The cluster of warm water spray nozzles comprises of 5 spray nozzles. The
cluster is mounted atop a pipe. The inlet pipes are in an arrangement of 2 pairs, with each pair perpendicular to the other, while the base circle of each nozzle of the pair scraping the opposite
sides of the centreline of that respective pair. The 5th nozzle inlet pipe passes through the intersection of the centerlines of the two pairs of nozzles. 1.3 SPECIAL FEATURE : The nozzles are
placed a top vertical column in a unique cluster of 5, such that water path of each nozzle follows downward parabolic trajectory. No two trajectories hinder or disturb each other to yield net
electrical power saving of 30% over that of the conventional spray cooling system with reduced quantity of water being required. The nozzles and pipes are threaded to facilitate easy dismantling
for cleaning. 1.4 SCOPE OF SUPPLY : Our scope of supply is a complete set of 5 nozzles for each cluster with the provision of external connections such as flanged pipeline for water entry.
