The AquaCheck continuous soil moisture monitoring system measures soil moisture on greens and fairways on a continuous basis and provides specific data for optimal water management. A cutting edge low powered telemetry platform offers near real-time data feedback, specifically designed for turf and requires minimal digging or disruption. By sampling and reading conditions up to 60 cm into the soil, and 4cm in diameter, the AquaCheck overcomes the problems associated with measuring soil moisture at one depth only. Because the technology is wireless, golf course activities are not disrupted at all and data is sent seamlessly to the course superintendent's office pc.

Together with our development partners we have developed a system that combines a very flexible and easy to move and install weather station with state of the art continuous soil moisture monitoring. The unique soil moisture monitoring approach is the result of many years of extensive research and field testing. Sensors are positioned in the root zone of the turf and respond to the base station or hand-held data collecting device. It gives an exact update on the current soil moisture condition including soil temperature. It can interface with a weather station to provide accurate Et0 figures. With this information the superintendent can now monitor and control the exact use of water and fertilizer.
