MOISTURE METERS

The MC-300 series is a capacitance measuring moisture meter. to measure moisture content in Wood. It works on the principle of measuring the dielectric constant.

A high frequency electrical field penetrates the material to be measured and produces a signal which is related to the moisture content. The signal is evaluated by the microprocessor and the zero point is corrected. Then the correct material group is selected, the moisture content is determined and displayed at once.

The MC-300 series is a new generation, microprocessorcontrolled, pocket-size handheld moisture meter. For quick and accurate non destructive determination of the moisture content in softwood, hardwood, other wood materials.

The MC-300 series are working on high frequency according to the contact measurement procedure. Can be used under outdoor and indoor conditions. Especially suitable for control measurements during production.

All together 9(or 18) selectable wood-groups means a much better adjustment to the different types of wood according to the density/cubic meter (beginning from 100 up to 1100 kg). More then 466 types of wood, local as well as exotic, are divided into the wood-groups.
