Has 2 outlets and can control 2 transformers.  Astronomic timers eliminate the traditional method of photocell and timer combination. 

Traditionally contractors use a timer and photocell.  With that type of set-up, the timer tells the system to shut off (at midnight forexample) and the photocell enables the transformer to turn on only when its dark.  With this astronomic timer you no longer need both a timer and a photocell-- the astronomic timer does it all in one unit!
