Data logger for Current Meter

Laterusing memory module, the data is retrived from datalogger &transfered to PC using supplied cable & communication software forfurther data analysis.

TheDatalogger consits of 20 x 4 alphanumeric LCD display, RISCmicrocontroller, Real Time clock, inbuilt non volatile memory &battery. The pulse output from current meter is sensed, sampled for 20seconds, calculated for displaying current water flow speed in meter /sec & stored in internal memory alongwith date & time stamp. Atvarious positions of river & at different depths the readings aretaken & stored.

Current meters are velocity measuring devices thatsample at a point. Each point velocity measurement is then assigned toa meaningful part of the entire cross section passing flow. Eachrotation of current meter causes contact closure pulse output overcable. The Current meter is lowered in river, canal using wading rod,crane, winch or boat.
