kryptoCOM uses the CSD channel (which enables data/FAX traffic) to establish encrypted mobile communications on GSM networks. The technology used by kryptoCOM relies on end2end secure GSM encryption with AES256 bit cipher key generated with Elliptic Curves Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) 517 bits (equivalent of Diffie-Hellman with 15.000 bits key); a new key is being generated for each call. kryptoCOM is actually available on HTC Touch Viva GSM. The solution can be also customized for large customers/enterprises requesting to implement proprietary crypto algorithms or requiring porting to other Windows Mobile based terminals. kryptoCOM has best-on-market security standards compliance: - AES256 bit algorithm with implementation compliant with FIPS-197 and 256 bit key. - Cryptographic hash by means of SHA-256 algorithm compliant with FIPS-180-2. - Key generation protocol which assures the destruction of the key at the end of the connection. - Random number generation compliant with FIPS-186-2. - Double vocal acknowledgement, to be performed by the 2 parties, of the numbers which can identify the key derived by means of the Diffie-Hellman scheme (avoids man-in-the-middle attacks).kryptoCOM is backdoor free certified; certain export limitations apply. kryptoCOM is available in bundle with HTC Touch Viva GSM handsets. kryptoCOM will be sold internationally starting April 2009 through a wide network of resellers and distributors.
