Included is all the necessary hardware and software to allow you to "Discover" and "Pair" to Bluetooth devices such as cell phones, PDAs, Blackberrys, Treos, and computers at distances up to 50m (168'.) For Toothing communications, the Kit allows you to detect and communicate with prospective fellow Toothers at extended ranges, far beyond any existing cellphone or PDA. Bluetooth Toothing Blade Antenna We include a Class 1 USB Bluetooth adapter manufactured by Linksys that has been professionally modified with the addition of an RP-SMA connector allowing connection of an external clip-on high-gain +5 dBi omni directional blade antenna. This antenna attaches easily to any laptop or briefcase with a clip or be affixed with the included Velcro mount.
