Pico Macoms PICO-TECH is a feature-rich handheld signal level meter used in CATV system signal measurement and adjustment. The user can choose the pre-programmed CATV plan or user-customized plan
for easier channel selection and scanning. Channel measurement of signals is provided as video, audio, and V/A difference carrier level to provide maximum flexibility. The frequency tuning
selection is also provided for measurement and adjustment in headend and distribution networks that employ narrow digital signals, or in non-standard frequency applications. The two-channel
measurement mode allows level display of two channels simultaneously, simplifying tilt balancing of amplifiers. In the channel scan mode, the PICO-TECH provides a numeric display of over 100
channels for full spectrum level analysis. The meters functions include not only signal measurement when AC voltage is present under test but also (when selected) voltage-level display, eliminating
the need to switch test equipment when there is voltage on the line. The meter displays instantaneous peak signal levels when testing digital carrier levels. The LCD screen displays signal level as
an easy-to-read digital numeric readout. This backlit display provides screen illumination in dimly lit workspaces, allowing behind-rack and night meter operation. The feature-rich PICO-TECH
enables measurement of single or multiple channels, single frequency, full band scan and AC voltage measurement for complete field flexibility. It is packaged in a protective case and with a charge
adapter.
