It can also be used as a sensor in conjunction with Motorolas Wireless Intrusion Protection System (IPS). Adoptable as either a Layer 2 or Layer 3 AP, the AP300 supports Layer 3 Mobility substantially reducing the cost of deploying, implementing and managing a WLAN while significantly increasing features, functionality and the security of the WLAN infrastructure
