HubBub UMTS access point

Airvanas HubBub UMTS is a small, inexpensive personal access point, or femtocell access point. When deployed in homes and offices, the HubBub UMTS will allow subscribers to use their existing UMTS handsets in-building with significantly improved coverage and increased broadband wireless performance. Airvanas HubBub UMTS uses Internet Protocol (IP) to deliver high-quality voice and multimedia services via broadband Internet connections such as DSL, cable, or fiber optic networks. This IP-based architecture allows the HubBub UMTS to be deployed and managed in virtually any environment where there is broadband Internet service.To ensure trusted security and reliable mobility, Airvanas HubBub UMTS is connected through a Femto Network Gateway to an operators existing Core Network of MSCs, SGSNs and GGSNs.
