Mindspeed's family of integrated framers/PHYs are used in a wide variety of datacom and telecom applications.
Framers are integrated with ATM PHYs which are also sometimes called Cell Delineator Blocks (CDB) or Transmission Convergence (TC) blocks.
These devices format data for transmission and extract data for reception at various line speeds for T/E lines and ATM.
