nESA, the ultimate wireless Security Function
 
Today, the security problem is the weakest point of wireless LAN, and becomes the largest obstacle in the use of the wireless LAN. Even though IEEE has released a series of security technologies including 802.11i, which is the latest standard security technology, the security problem of wireless LAN has not been solved yet. The fundamental reason is that the wireless LAN is exposed to any body easily. This leads to make possible wireless LAN sniffing of intruders, and finally let the wireless network attacked by intruders easily. To solve this fundamental problem, it is essential to prevent intruders from sniffing the wireless LAN and, to do so, all traffic in the wireless LAN should be protected. nESA wireless security function provided by NS-5000A protects the wireless network itself, and prevents intruders from sniffing the wireless LAN by encoding all traffic on the wireless LAN. nESA is a unique wireless security function provided only by NS-5000A, and the main features thereof are as follows.
