In case of computer failure the base station will let you continue with your alarm monitoring manually. This unit is equipped with a 30 watt two way radio and a built in backup battery.
The IRC Base (also called a data router witch can be configured to be an intelligent highsite repeater) communicates with your control room computer to handle incoming alarms and to send commands from the control room to Robotic telemetry units.
