Transmitter Module

Microprocessor based status monitoring and control is available for operation from the local OCM keypad or remotely via the network, using the PBN NMS3 network management software. All module settings are retained in NV memory to ensure trouble free operation.

The LTM13 employs the latest in broadband linear amplifier technology. In addition, it is a leading edge opto-electronic design for the delivery of high-quality transmission, in both analog and digital formats, over fibre optic networks.

There is also a return path version of this transmitter with a bandwidth of 5 MHz to 220 MHz. The return path transmitter includes a 4.5 MHz pilot tone generator for system alignment.

The laser transmitter module is available in optical power levels from 2 dBm to 15 dBm. The unit offers superior frequency response, distortion and noise characteristics. The LTM13 incorporates specialized circuitry to deliver the best possible CTB and CSO performance up to 1000 MHz.

The LTM13 Multi Quantum Well (MQW) Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser transmitter module has been designed for cable television and HFC broadband applications. The LTM13 module easily fits into the OCM chassis with plug and play technology to suit a variety of applications.

The laser transmitter module is available in optical power levels from 2 dBm to 15 dBm.
