Description:
Withthe ZigBee ZB-2130 radio module in SMD construction, wireless networksbased on the IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee standards can be set up. It isalso a powerful and flexible platform for proprietary
radio solutions.The integrated power front end (with LNA and PA) can send datawirelessly at distances of up to 400 metres in line of sight. Inconjunction with a suitable software stack complex
network solutionsincluding routing functions can also be realised. Battery-operatedapplications for collecting sensor data, control tasks etc. based onthe radio module are easily realisable. ZigBee
and IEEE 802.15.4protocol stacks are provided, partially in source code, and can beintegrated in the microprocessor together with the customer-specificapplication.
Interfaces:
The module has 39 freelyconfigurable I/O pins, allowing implementation of two UART interfacesand eight 10-bit ADC channels among others. Connection to external SRAM(up to 64 kb) is envisaged for
applications with raised memory spacerequirements.

The radio module is perfectlysuitable for applications such as building automation, industrialmonitoring, data logging and wireless sensors.
