TheZigBee ZB-2620 radio module is a compact ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 compliantsolution that meets the needs of low-cost, low-power wireless sensornetworks. The modules are easy-to-integrate, require
minimal power andprovide reliable delivery of critical data between devices. Thissmall-sized OEM RF module operates within the 2.4 GHz frequency bandand is designed for adding wireless mesh, star
or cluster connectivityto a wide range of monitoring and control applications. The RF range inan open field environment is typically 80 metres.
Interfaces:
TheZigBee ZB-2620 is connected to a host system via UART interface withdata rates of up to 230.4 kbaud. Other pins are available for data flowcontrol. An SPI interface is also included. By using
appropriatefirmware, the module enables monitoring and controlling of theconnected host system via digital and analogue inputs as well asdigital outputs.
