Use HS02, with the integrated fluxgate compass, for anall-in-one solution for use in fiberglass vessels.

Both of Northstar's radar heading sensors deliver headingdata 10 times a second to your display.

Heading sensors provide gyro-compensated data for your radarprocessor. A heading sensor enhances radar image stability, and is needed forchart overlay.

Heading Sensors :

The effective range of a scanner increases when mountedhigher on your boat. The power of a scanner is also an indicator of its range.A scanner's beam width (the angle at which scanner's signal spreads) indicateshow good the scanner is at target discrimination - a smaller beam width isbetter.

An open array antenna will deliver better range and detailbecause of its higher power and narrow beam width.

Radomes are compact and lightweight, making them ideal forsail boats and small powerboats. Consider a radome when space and power supplyis limited.

Choosing a scanner :

If any target detect by the radar enters a user-defined areaon the display, the system will alert you to its presence.
