Feed mixes are made of 4 components by an individual, customized recipe depending on the required exchange energy. They may consist of grain (wheat, barley, oats, beans), extraction cake, oilcake, bran, mineral substances, and rye. This combination of components, given that the recipe is composed properly, allows to increase the protein content in a feed mix which makes it more competitive against regular feeds such as grain or bran.
