The RADS 9-11/A1 is a combination U/VHF-HF/NVIS man-portable antenna system, specifically designed and priced for Amateur Radio EmComm. It covers the 144, 220 and 440 MHz Amateur U/VHF bands, plus
all adjacent public safety bands and the 80/75, 60, 40, 30 and 20 meter Amateur HF bands. It is complete with everything needed, including coax with UHF-type connectors. It will handle up to 200
watts carrier on U/VHF and up to 100 watts P.E.P. on HF. Additional HF frequencies maybe covered with the purchase of optional whip resonators. Other options are available, such as HF wire dipole
kits for other HF bands, MARS/CAP and other frequencies. An Extended mast kit is also available that raises the standard 12 foot mast to 24 feet. The included 25 foot U/VHF and 25 foot HF feed
lines are double-shielded, low-loss RG8X w/UHF-type connectors. An optional Extension kit is available (required w/extended mast), that extends both feed lines an additional 25 feet; for an overall
length of 50 feet each.
